We begin with a question today. Do you ever think to yourself, “There must be something MORE to Life?”
I think you and I do have a place if we begin to believe that God is up to something. We – You, Me, and Mt. Pleasant and beyond could use a Transition. Each day brings amazing pieces from God and that is not a myth, it is a trust. You and me, More Alive in Him, Pursuing the Life of God.
At Life Community Church, we do believe that TODAY is the Day. The Day God again moves inside of us as we move toward what He has for us. Does that not bring to you a sense of experience with our Creator, the one who brought us into this Earth, this World, where we, live this day?
Six years ago at LCC we began talking about the concept of “Base Camp.” Let’s consider how that can become a reality for you and me as we test the ground for Faith surrounded by our Community to keep us accountable.
During that time, I found myself at Lowe’s in Mt. Pleasant on an early Saturday morning. A gentleman and I literally bumped into each other in the Plumbing area and began an almost 1 hour back and forth about – Base Camp! Oh, did I tell you he too was a Pastor?
Together, we bounced our ideas off each other one after another. Before we knew it, that hour went by while at the same time he and I had made a new friend. And at that point we both released the other on this Saturday morning.
It was, my friends, an opportunity to speak, and to listen, and to grasp what both of us meant by Base Camp.
What we learn because God is WITH us is that life is not Random, Meaningless, or Empty. What we say, where we go, what you make of life – MATTERS!
