All of us have heard this opening statement, while most of us have pushed it to the side leaving us with a life undetermined.

What is the Big Idea surrounding ODAAT? 

My bet is it was transpired by God. And for me, it makes a lot of sense once we focus down on the WHY. And that will come through these next several posts.

There are several options we should consider:

1. We either have an idea for Life
2. We are working on an idea for Life
3. We haven’t started yet toward our idea for Life 

While all of the above could be okay for now, the origin of Life has been shared. Its origin is seen in the opening of the Old Testament in Genesis. In fact, Genesis comes from the word Origin.

In that first chapter, we see that one day is allotted for the Trinity to bring forth a piece that will bring forth Life.  And as we continue reading into Genesis 1:26 you and I are made into the likeness of this Trinity and given this thing call dominion over all of the  Earth.

If that is our opening, One Day At A Time, imagine me and you running with those 5 words of Life.

As we planted Life Community Church we worked in those early years to identify the vision God has for us. It came to fruition later than we had thought and yet just at the time God chose.

The initial Vision had 27 words in it! Who was going to be able to share that with anyone else; NO ONE! that’s who.

So God, through groupthink, challenged LCC to cut the Vision in less than half. And here it is and has been for 12 years.

Pursuing the Life of God through Meaningful Relationships that impact Culture.

Pursuing the Life of God; gave us the vital Breath that we needed.

through Meaningful Relationships; gave us vital Contacts that we needed.

that Impact Culture; gave us vital Influence that we needed.

Together we have moved forward with this Vision, knowing that God brings that Vision into our lives, One Day At A Time.  There is no reason to change what God has called us to for these many years until God changes our Vision.
