Two-minute read.

When we talk about faith, it is a vast topic to consider. Yes, Faith carries words like; extensive, great, huge, large, wide, and many other words we can think of. Try that word VAST and see what you can find. Consider what words can bring into our hearts and minds. I think that Jesus would like that because there are so many opportunities that just a word can bring to our thoughts.

At Life Community Church, we carry these three words: WORDS CREATE WORLDS! And oh, how often one can change through three words.

How can we define Faith in a few minutes? Try this on: Faith is about a choice (a step of the will), a decision to know God personally. This is why Jesus came. This is why the peddlers of Religion hated Him so much.

“The great battle of our spiritual lives is; Will you believe? Not will you try harder or can you make yourself worthy.” Jim Cymbala

The person who seeks to know God (by faith) is the person to whom God reveals himself. It’s simple. We often do it by sharing our hand with another. It is our way of wondering, will this individual return to give themselves to me? With God, there is no wondering. He brought us into Life to find Faith!

Americans are satisfied with being average in their spiritual maturity.George Barna

Faith is not something we conjure up; it is the POWER for LIVING we are given. As we grow in our relationship with God through Jesus Christ and with the help of the Holy Spirit, we are there forever and ever!

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1

What we hope for:

  • is that a personal relationship with Jesus Christ will bring restoration into our lives
  • And that it will bring restoration because that is what God has said He will do.

Certain of what we do not see – we are in a PROCESS, it means though today we may not see all He has promised, someday we will!

FAITH isn’t about having every answer to every issue. We already have sufficient evidence about God. Sufficient evidence to:

  • Make a Choice
  • Take a Step of your Will
  • Come to a Decision

The question is, as it has always been: What Do We Want?

God’s Blessings Upon You,

Pastor Mike
