Answer this question: What Do I Want?
“I have come that they might have life and have it to the full.”
John 10:10b
If you desire a full and abundant life then:
- Determine who you are In Christ.
- Connect with others and be who you are In Christ
From Creation, we read that we were made in God’s Image. That Image of God is the foundation for our motivation in LIFE! There is something in all of us that reflects that Image. Because of Sin, we are all searching to reclaim what God placed initially within each of us. The Living God designed us to LIVE! His intention is for us to realize a full and complete LIFE!
We lack this full life for one of two reasons:
- We have yet to make a decision to have a relationship connected with God
- Or we may have decided but have not claimed its advantages, or, as Jackson Browne’s song says, we may be Running On Empty.
Seriously, we have to answer this question – What Do I Want?
Jesus’ offer was not only to pardon our sins. It was to give us back the image of God placed inside our Hearts. Living – Yes, by all means, let’s live fully and abundantly. But how do we live? We learn to live by FAITH, a decision to know God personally.
