The fundamental truth of formation is you can’t get out of it. Everyone who’s alive will turn to someone or something else to form them. That’s just the way life roles. Perhaps a better approach might be; Who determines the meaning of Life for you?
I choose Jesus because Jesus used a process that looks like this:
Living gives way to Becoming, then Changing with a look to Arriving
At Life Community, we tend toward what I would call Progressive Faith. And faith is always progressing, not static but dynamic.
One cannot be on a Journey without a Story, can they? I mean think about it. Spiritual Renewal brings Focus into our lives if that is what we are pursuing.
I ran across this concept, Measuring Faith. It opens with a metric to help you to determine how effective your faith is day by day. Does that sound like something you’d want to invest in?
Next in this go around we’ll look at Paul’s first letter to a church in Thessaloniki where these folks were determined to express their faith through measuring their faith.
Now there’s a novel idea that Christians or better yet, followers of Jesus would find appealing.
