2 minute read.

I read somewhere that without the courage to trust God we’ll never find ourselves fully sharing life with others.

This is true because life is about finding the courage to live despite our pre-dispositions for diversion and distraction. Courage is available to all of us. All we must do is pursue it.

Now, I realize that those last two statements are challenging for you and for me. And if those two statements bother us, well, we are in need, in need of God’s love for us daily.

The Father longs for us to share the life we have in Christ with those who are curious. And even those who may not be openly curious,  surely we have an obligation in some way to share life with those blessed individuals who are our friends.

Wow, this is getting serious, but please read to the end of this post, and if it gets too heavy for now take a break and come back later when I’m not so much on my soapbox.

As a Pastor of a Micro church known as Life Community Church, we have built a place to come to that has no stones to throw at others. People come and people go, and we are grateful that they were at LCC.

We speak most of the time about Jesus because Jesus is how we understand God. And it is to that thought that I would like to talk about our opportunity to share life with others.

Two-thirds of the way through the Gospel of John, Jesus shared life with anyone who would listen, read, and hopefully apply.

“A new command I give you; Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love another. By this will all men know that you are my disciples; if you love one another.

John 13:34-35

In three words, Jesus shares what it means to share life. I wish I could do that just once. Just lay it out Mike and then keep your mouth shut. Be silent, and allow Jesus to speak.

There’s no time like the present. Let me try it.

Love one another.
